Studio lighting setup #06, charcoal background.
This studio lighting setup comprises three light sources and is very easy to use, but to my mind gives very interesting result. Beauty dish located on the left of a model serves as key light, and model itself is at a distance of two meters from the background. Strip located upright to the right of the model helps us to level the shade side and the left side of the background. Reflections in glasses can seem excess to somebody but on this image they are made consciously. They are not big and don’t cover eyes. Fill light directed to the white wall behind the camera also gives the excellent gradient patch of light in addition to the side ones creating volume between glasses and eyes. I hope you like it and cya next time! (Equipment : Canon 5D Mark II with Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM – Bowens Gemini 500).
